Ravens Fall to Steelers Again: A fimiliar Struggle for us All

Image
Another chapter in the Ravens - Steelers Rivalry unfolded yesterday, and unfortunately for Ravens fans, it was a fimiliar story. Baltimore lost in a hard fought game, but what stood out once again was  Lamar Jackson's  ongoing struggle vs Pittsburg.  Jackson has yet to find his groove vs the Steelers' defense, which always seems to have his number. The Steelers know how to keep Lamar in check. Yesterday, he faced constant pressure, forcing him into mistakes and keeping the offense from finding a rhythm.  But it's not all on him. Coaching decisions also played a role in the loss. Bad play calls in critical situations like the two point conversion, left me scratching my head. Actually, more like pulling my hair out directly from my crown. Even Justin Tucker missed two field goals he would've made with his eyes closed last year. What is going on?  Its tough to see the Ravens stumble like this, especially in pivotal division matchups. What do you all think wo...

Many Ravens Fans Not Fully Content With Trade Deadline Performance

Image
The  Ravens Made a good move by getting  Tre'Davious White  before the deadline to better their struggling secondary. While white's addition addresses a clear need in the corner position, many fans ,including me, were hoping the Ravens would focus on adding a pass rusher to help the defense create more pressure on opposing quarterbacks.  White has impressive skills that will cdrtainly improve the Ravens defensive backfield, especially with the secondary facing serious concerns. However, a lack of a move for a pass rusher has left many fans frustrated. The team has been struggling all season to consistently put pressure on the quarterback, and with superbowl aspirations on the line, we thought adding a good pass rusher should have been the number one priority. What do you all think? Did EDC mess this up?  Picture via:  BVM Sports

Derrick Henry is on Pace for 2000 Yards, and the Ravens are Heating Up

The NFL season is already in week six and the Ravens are buzzing as of late.  Derrick Henry  may be on his way to another 2,000 yard season, and the  Ravens  are so back with four straight wins after the scariness of losing the first two. Lets break it down. Henry is going nuts averaging 120 yards a game and is well on pace for 2000 yards this year, which would make him the first ever player to hit that mark twice. As we all know, if the Ravens keep feeding him, history could be made and Lamar and Henry will continue to be nearly impossible for defensive coordinators to plan for. Meanwhile, the Ravens have bounced back winning four straight.  Zay Flowers   is starting to find his rhythm again with back to back 100 plus yard games and a huge performance vs the  Washington Commanders  this past Sunday. The defense still has its questions, but they have tightened up and have helped the team solidify themselves in the  AFC North  race. ...
